Remembering Someone Special

Donating in memory of your loved one is a wonderful way of remembering them and celebrating their life.

You will also be helping other patients and their families to receive specialist care and support, when they need it most.

Here are some of the ways that you can support our work and remember your loved one:

  • Collecting donations in memory of your loved one at the funeral or online. Your funeral director can help you with this or we can support you.  We can provide collection envelopes, gift aid declaration or tins if required.
  • Making an online donation in memory
  • Dedicating a leaf on our Eternal Tree
  • Join us at our annual Light Up a Life.
  • Organise an event, take part in a challenge or join our 10@10 Late Night Walk

Your gift in this special way will enable us to continue to be here for more local people.

Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust -Covid-19 Update

Updated as of 20 May 2021:

Although Covid-19 restrictions are being relaxed, the Hospice is an acute medical facility and will remain closed to the public for the time being.

Please do not ask to be admitted to the Hospice as we need to protect our patients and staff.  Please put letters or donations in the Red Post Box in the porch. It is emptied regularly.

Although our Inpatient Unit is operating as normal, Visitor Restrictions remain in force.

Restrictions are lifting but we still need to restrict visitors to protect patients and staff. Please speak to senior staff or call 01264 835288 to find out how this affects your family.

All visitors to the Hospice must wear the required PPE, which will be provided.  Please do not come to the hospice if you have symptoms, are self-isolating or been in contact with someone with symptoms.

Thank you for your support and patience, and for helping to protect our patients and staff.

Director of the Hospice Charitable Trust
