Light Up A Life 2021 – Dedicate a Light for your loved one and support the hospice

At Christmas time our thoughts often turn to those who are no longer with us to share the festive season. Through Light Up a Life, we join to remember and celebrate the lives and memories of our loved ones.

The Light Up a Life Ceremony will take place at St Mary’s Church, Andover on Thursday 9th December at 6:30pm and is open to everyone even if your loved one was not a patient at the Hospice.  Candles will be lit during the ceremony and the Christmas Tree with a light for each person remembered will be switched on at the Hospice.  Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.

The Light Up a Life Christmas Tree will shine at the Hospice until Twelfth Night.  You will receive a Light Up a Life Dedication Certificate prior to the event.  To make sure a light shines on the Hospice Light Up a Life Tree for your loved one and you receive your certificate, please make your dedication by Friday 3rd December.

A minimum donation of £5 per light is recommended.

Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust -Covid-19 Update

Updated as of 23 July 2021:

Although restrictions have been lifted, the hospice is still maintaining guidelines to protect our patients and staff.

You will be required to wear a clinical grade mask, socially distance where possible and regularly wash or sanitise hands.

Our Inpatient Unit is operating as normal.  However Visitor Restrictions remain in force.

Restrictions are lifting but we still need to restrict visitors to protect patients and staff. Please speak to senior staff or call 01264 835288 to find out how this affects your family.

Thank you for your continued support and patience, and for helping to protect our patients and staff.
