We need You – Look out for our Annual Door Drop
Which will be delivered from 4th October. Deliveries are spread over a 2-3 week period from this date so you may not receive it at the same time as others. The mailing will include our annual appeal and our Christmas card leaflet. It is not possible to exclude current supporters from the door drop. However, it is a very cost-effective way for us to reach a large number of households we would normally not be in touch with to raise funds and awareness of our work. Make your donation online
CoBH Christmas Cards and Gifts will be available from the Hospice from Monday 11th October. Cards and gifts will be on sale on weekdays from 10am – 12pm and 2pm-4pm. All our Christmas Cards and gifts will be on our website from 4th October and cards can also be ordered on the leaflet in our door drop.

Two local bowling clubs came together for an annual charity match in aid of CoBH.
The bowls match between the St Mary Bourne and Andover bowling clubs saw players compete for a trophy, as well as enjoying refreshments, a raffle and auction. The event was opened by Matron Sarah McGaughey and, alongside a car boot sale, raised an amazing £1,040 with a further £205 to come from Lloyds Bank in match funding. Thank you so much to John Booth, St Mary Bourne team captain and everyone involved for their hard work in raising such a magnificent total.
Thank you to Needles and Natter who have very kindly made and donated these beautiful quilts for us

FOLLOWING the humongous success of his cruises around the town last year, Andover’s very own Santa will be returning this December.
Santa will be travelling around Andover in his sleigh on December 10, 11, 12, 16, 17 and 19. And this year, lifting of restrictions means the team are able to collect on the nights and have chosen to support CoBH. At a launch event at the hospice on Friday, Kevin Rush, said: “The main difference is that this year we will be able to do collections, and we want to try and get as much as we can.”
The routes have been slightly altered, so that the team can maximise the number of streets covered. They are also hoping to do something the weekend before, where Santa parks up and is static, so people can donate in exchange for a photo with Santa and the sleigh. Click here for more information about Andover’s Santa Cruises, including being one of the first to know his routes.
Grace Davis will be shaving her beautiful 4ft long hair on 8th October. She will be splitting the money raised between Little Princess Trust, Ed’s Expedition and CoBH. We looked after Grace’s Nana earlier in the year. Please click here if you would like to donate.
Paul Ellison and Mike Wilson (and Bailey the dog) aka The Lighthouse Laddies are on the final leg of their challenge to visit the 140 Lighthouses across the North-East of Scotland, Orkney and Shetland which make up the Light The North Art Trail. The challenge is due to finish on 17th October and is in memory of Paul’s brother Graeme who was cared for at Brecknock Hospice earlier this year and to support the work of CLAN Cancer Support in the North-East of Scotland where Mike is a board member. They have already raised a wonderful £815 and you can support them here
