Our beautiful gardens are nearly finished.
For the last month, Garden Designer Fi Boyle and the Team from Natural Habitats Landscape have been working hard on our new gardens. Fi has designed wonderful garden areas for all the senses, which are low maintenance and have interest all year round. We are looking forward to seeing them bloom in the spring and summer next year.
Who you gonna call when the delivery man won’t deliver?
Light Up A Life 2020 – Dedicate a Light for your loved one and support the hospice
Time is running out to make your Light Up a Light Dedication. We need to receive your dedication by Monday if you wish to receive your Programme and Dedication Certificate for the Light Up A Life Dedication on Sunday 6th December. If your dedication arrives later than this, your light will still shine on our tree and your dedication certificate will be sent but we cannot guarantee you will receive it in time. You can dedicate a light on our virtual Light Up a Life Christmas Tree at any time.
The Light up a Life Dedication will be streamed via YouTube, Facebook and our website on Sunday 6th December at 4.00pm. Full details will be on how to watch will be on our website from Friday 4th December.
The Hospice is currently closed to the public. Visitor Restrictions are also in force for patients. Only close family are allowed to visit for a limited time period. Please speak to senior staff or call 01264 835288 to find out how this affects your family. Visitors must wear a clinical grade face mask, and in certain situations, additional PPE. These will be provided. It is likely that this will continue even once Lockdown restrictions are relaxed on 2nd December. This is to protect our patients and staff. Please do not come to the hospice if you have any symptoms, are self-isolating or have been contact with someone with symptoms.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our Door Drop Appeal and/or ordered Christmas Cards. Christmas Card stocks are now very low – please see website for available designs. Please continue to support us by post, telephone, donating online or by using online platforms such as Facebook and JustGiving. If you bring donations to the hospice, please use the red post box which is located in the front porch of the hospice. It is emptied on a regular basis and providing the information is given, an acknowledgement will be sent.
