WoW Sandra! One of our staff members Sandra Gibbons has received a Wow award
Sandra went above and beyond to make sure that one of our patients house was ready for them so that they could leave the hospice and go back home. This involved Sandra visiting the patients house and having a tidy up, clearing anything that was no longer required, making sure the correct equipment was in place and it was a safe environment.
Well done Sandra!!
Congratulations to Matt and George on completing their Three Peaks Challenge. They have raised an amazing £1,518 in memory of Peter Scard. Thank you so much.
Well Done Kelly.
Kelly has been running throughout August to complete her 100 mile challenge.
Good Luck to the AH4 Team who are due to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower on 5th September in memory of Kev Heaton.
You have all been waiting so long to do this, we really hope you can finally go ahead. Thank you for your amazing fundraising for this challenge which has already raised over £2,000. You can support the team here.
Project Wingman – Rest and Relaxation!
The crew form various airlines are currently volunteering their services to the NHS, while they themselves are in an unknown situation. They wanted to give something back to the NHS staff for all the hard work they have been doing over the past couple of months.
They have been visiting Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover Hospitals, setting up an airport lounge area where staff can relax and be waited on.
All staff are able to go along to have a rest, tea/coffee, snacks and lovely mocktails are all being served with a smile.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us over the last few months . It is very difficult for us to fundraise at the moment and this enormously affects our ability to support the running costs of the hospice. Your help is so very much appreciated.
Our Eternal Tree is a beautiful, handcrafted copper wall sculpture set in the family area of the inpatient unit. Engraved maple leaves can be added to the branches to create a stunning artwork and a lasting collection of memories and special messages.
Leaves can be dedicated in memory of a loved one, to express thanks, as a gift, to show support for the hospice or simply be engraved with your own name or personal message. Download our leaflet for full details,
