We’re nearly there!
Our brand new hospice will be finished in the next few weeks and handed over to us.  The building will then be commissioned and everyone trained and acquainted with all our new equipment and new procedures.  This means that we will now be opening to patients at the beginning of March.  A little behind schedule but we want to make sure everything is exactly as we need it before moving in.  We have worked hard to achieve the ‘home from home’ feeling that our patients and their families value so much.  Bedrooms have cabinets to house the medical gasses, suction systems and hoists, the hoist rails are recessed into the ceilings.  Furnishings, although approved for infection control, have a softer and less institutional feel. The new hospice will provide 10 new ground floor ensuite inpatient rooms, new relatives room, treatment and therapy rooms, renovated and enlarged Day Care Centre, as well as improved visitors, reception areas and a Sanctuary for quiet moments.
Thank you so very much to every one who has generously donated and enabled us to to build and equip this outstanding new medical facility for the people of Andover, Stockbridge and the surrounding villages.

Day Care Visitors
It’s been a busy month for our Day Care patients.  They have had a visit from C Blake & Son, the florist, who are a generous corporate supporter of CoBH.  Sarah brought a magnificent array of colourful blooms so patients could create wonderful Valentine’s arrangements.  They also met a Parliamentarian (Roundhead) and Royalist (Cavalier) – two great English Civil War renactors.   Thank you for coming to see us.
