Michele Gard, our new Head of Community Fundraising
Our new Head of Community Fundraising, Michele Gard started at the beginning of September.
Originally from Devon, Michele has a background in finance, administration and marketing. With almost 20 years of fundraising experience in children’s charities and the environmental sector, she began her fundraising career in1999 working as a Community Appeals Manager for the NSPCC. In 2005, Michele started her own fundraising consultancy and since 2012 she has been Fundraising and Communications Manager at the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust in Devizes.
“Working for a hospice is a new direction for me” Michele said. “I have really enjoyed my first few months at CBH. I am so impressed by the amazing work that my clinical colleagues do. The Hospice is such an important local charity and it is a privilege to be able to fundraise for it.”
